The Fed Chairman Bernanke has promised to keep the independence of the Fed when taking an oath of his second term of office, which being valid till January of 2014.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

 

He said although encouraged by some factors, he was not optimistic about the trend of present economy, with too many people unemployed and a rather tightened credit. He indicated to face the challenge thereupon, the Fed would keep its independence to ensure itself  not affected by temporary political policies, so as to make the right decision for American long-term monetary policy, and this would helpful to the surge of confidence and to the stability of American finance as well.
