Some noted American experts recently have pointed out that it is not  the right way to deal with global unbalance by US stress imposing yuan to revalue, and US trade deficits has nothing to do with its high rate of unemployment, or rather, with yuan’s devaluation.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

American expert Fu Ruiwei says,  “there is no links amid US deficits, jobless rate and yuan’s value”, even it would give no help  to US-China trade unbalance even if yuan going up. One could find the beg gap between the average cost of a certain goods against its wholesale price in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />America. In such a higher service cost, US commodities could hardly win only presses yuan up 20 percent.

Fu Ruiwei also indicates America would choose other emerging market such as Mexican, instead of the soaring of Chinese goods.

An expert with Johns Hopkins University thinks it’s just America’s consumer goods that actually impacted by yuan-rise, which by no means solve the problem of global unbalancing but widen the gap of America’s deficit to China.
