ASEAN creates regional credit guarantee with investment fund
Opened on May the second at the capital of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Uzbekistan, the 13th ASEAN finance ministers’ meeting including China, Japan and Korea (10+3) announced the establishment of the regional credit guarantee regime together with investment fund. China’s financial minister Xie Xuren attended the meeting accompanied with his teem members. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The meeting applauded the formal effectiveness of Chiang Mai protocol over multilateral co-op, and has reached the agreement on the key point of regional economic monitoring sector.
With regard to regional financial cooperation, China advocates to continue with the sound co-op background gained by all sides, as to promote the growth of the Asian Bond Market.
