China had moved up to become the UK's 8th largest investors with a record total of 74 projects, an increase of 25 percent over the previous year, said the report.
The increase indicated Chinese investors' confidence in the country's vigorous market and its rule as a global financial center, said Alastair Morgan, Counselor for trade and investment of the British Embassy in China.
The United Kingdom is a place that has a world class workforce, ability to turn ideas into products as well as favorable conditions to headquarter companies in the Europe, said the counselor.
