According to the Customs of Shenzhen, recently it retains up-going tendency in trade between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, in the first half year,  Shenzhen has fulfilled the trading volume, via Hong Kong the transship port, at the amount of 32.45 billion dollars, up 27.5 percent year on year, among which export accounting for 31.73 billion dollars, increased by 28.4 percent.  During the financial crisis, trade between the two sides declined sharply, and kept lingering away till the end of last year.

Export of high-tech products are growing fast early this year, paralleled with electronic-machinery goods, at the amount of 26.79 billion dollars or up 27 percent, holding the vast proportion of total volume about 84.4 percent, exported to Hong Kong.

Import of CEPA favored goods has increased by 36 percent, at the amount of 0.381 billion dollars, covering medicine, plastic products and the like. Meanwhile, aluminum products, apparels and industrial spices have all exceeded several millions of dollars for importing.

Toy export leapt 2.4 times in the first half of the year, to ASEAN countries, in contrast with America and the EU at respective amount of 0.41 and 0.22 billion dollars, up 14.4 percent and 19.2 percent.

Introduced by the Customs official, there are two major factors involving the rapid growth of toy export: first, the economic recovery in America and Europe; second, the progress of purchasing power at the Free Trade Area contracted with China.
