Plans to be worked out soon for the rise of central regions

On 25, The State Development and Reform Commission asked for the detailed programs to be worked out at the end of this year from the effort of six provinces at central regions. Early this year, it has already publicized a plan for 5 or 10 years in promoting economic development in this district, verifying the tasks of construction for “three bases and one link-point”,  and relevant supporting politics in financial coordination.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

In agriculture, it asks for a stabilized growth of agricultural insurance and an enhanced policy on premium subsidy to the lower levels. In the meantime it will give great helps to promote the reform of country-level rural credit cooperatives toward the mode of rural commercial bank, while in persistence of serving the agriculture-related projects.

In manufacturing, loans with subsidized interest will be continually adopted for central regions state-level economic development zone and for national high and new tech zone in the field of public infrastructure constructions.

Other aspects like to set up sustainable development reserves for resource-based cities, the growth of equity investment institutions and the reform of urban agglomeration development,  are all included and stipulated in detail in the program.
