The Central Bank Raises Benchmark Rates
The People’s Bank of China raised benchmark rates on October 20, 2010. Raising one-year deposit rates by 25 basis points from the current 2.25% to 2.50%. And one-year lending rates raised by 25 basis points, from 5.31% to 5.56%. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
